Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prbl, a software-as-a-service security scanning platform operated by Wright Software Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Prbl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

Prbl provides automated static analysis of software repositories to identify potential security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code. The service includes a web dashboard, API access, GitHub Action integration, and an AI-powered rewriter (on paid plans).

No guarantee of completeness. Security scanning is inherently probabilistic. Prbl may not detect every vulnerability in your code, and findings may include false positives. Prbl is a tool to assist your security review process — it does not replace a professional security audit, penetration test, or human code review.

2. Accounts

You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth to use Prbl. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of any organization whose repositories you connect to Prbl.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Prbl to:

• Scan repositories you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or access controls
• Use the service to develop competing security scanning products
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that violates applicable law
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying scanner rules or models

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All charges are in USD.

No refunds. All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated charges for partial months, unused time, or any other reason, except where explicitly required by applicable law. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. After two failed attempts, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan and you will lose access to paid features. You can re-subscribe at any time.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current billing period.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of your code and repositories. By connecting a repository, you grant Prbl a limited, non-exclusive license to clone and analyze it for the purpose of providing the service. We do not store your source code beyond what is necessary to complete a scan. Scan results (findings, metadata) are stored and associated with your account.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time via Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

6. Intellectual Property

Prbl and its underlying technology, scanner rules, and AI models are the intellectual property of Wright Software Solutions. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL VULNERABILITIES IN YOUR CODE WILL BE DETECTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRIGHT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
